Summary

ClipDot is a local macOS clipboard history app. It does not upload clipboard content, does not track users, and does not send your clipboard history to any server.

Data Stored Locally

ClipDot stores clipboard history only on your Mac, inside the app's macOS sandbox container. Clipboard history can include text, links, rich text, images, and source app metadata needed to show the history list.

Data Collection

ClipDot does not collect personal data, does not use analytics, does not use advertising tracking, and does not share data with third parties.

Permissions

ClipDot may ask for Accessibility permission so it can simulate paste after you choose a clipboard history item. Without this permission, ClipDot can still write the selected item back to the clipboard, and you can paste manually.
